We will be holding a Poule Night at Fenton Manor on Monday 8th March, 6pm - 8pm.  Fencers of all levels welcome.  Poules of four or five fencers, with prizes for winners.  All levels of ability welcome to this fun and informal introduction to competitive fencing.  Cost is £6.50 for any fencers who are not already members of Fenton Fencing.�

Epee events

Date: Sunday 28 March 2010
Venue: Sports Hall, rear of Turves Green Boys School, Northfield, Birmingham B31 4BS.

Well done to our Four of Clubs Juniors today.  All the boys pulled out the stops and all improved their performance — and enjoyed the resulting victories.  Edward came home with a bronze medal in the U12 Boys Foil and William pulled out an extraordinary performance in U14 Boys Foil, being unbeaten all day and just missing out on the gold medal by 2 hits in the last seconds of a closely fought match.  Both will go on to represent the West Midlands at the British Youth Championships.

Much missed was Tony, who injured his foot yesterday and is out of fencing for a few weeks.  The squad does not seem the same without him and we hope he will be back soon.
